David Muir was born in the United States and is an American journalist. His ABC News program World News Tonight, with David Muir has been a success for many years. Additionally it is his co-anchorship of ABC News magazine 20/20. The most popular newscast of America is his program featuring dramatic video clips and animated gestures. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. His predecessor, Diane Sawyer's primary replacement anchor until he was appointed anchor at ABC World News Tonight. Since then, he has covered many ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's been all over the world reporting on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He was awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as honors given by the Associated Press.
