David Muir, an American journalist, anchoring the ABC News magazine 20, is best known as the co-anchor of World News Tonight With David Muir. With its animated gestures and dramatic videos of celebrity news, the show has become America's most-watched newscast. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning show. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary reporter for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. Since then, he has covered many ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's been to a variety of locations around the globe reporting the news. From Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. His accolades include several Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to honors by The Associated Press.
